Teaching English in Italy through ACLE
ACLE is a non-profit organisation based in Italy which primarily deals with teaching English through drama, games, music, sport and art activities to make learning English more interesting and enjoyable for children. The organisation is officially accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education and has been running Summer Camps for 28 years. It is also the first association in Italy to teach English using Theatre in Education through their theatre company, "Theatrino".

More about ACLE teaching camps

ACLE hires over 700 native English speakers from around the world each year to teach English through games, song, sport and drama at our camps. Successful candidates will be invited to attend a 5-day orientation in Sanremo or Paestum before being assigned their first camp. The orientation fee is €200 and covers full board and lodging and the orientation course. ACLE provides an Introductory TEFL course, full board, lodging, transport to and from camps, insurance whilst at camp, and tutors receive a weekly contribution of €225 – 275 paid in Euros.
Requirements / Eligibility
ACLE requires tutors’ English (written and spoken) to be at the standard of a native speaker. Tutors need to be independent yet able to work in a team environment, be enthusiastic and energetic and most importantly love working with children.

Applications are open as of October 1st and will close March 15th 2012. Applications are submitted via ACLE's website where more information on the summer camps and application procedures can be viewed.
