Offer Description

We select candidates to work on research in the area of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE and DATA SCIENCE in a project at the CENTER FOR INNOVATION IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR HEALTH (CIIA-SAÚDE), specifically in the sub-project “Prediction of Clinical Outcomes and Economic through Multimodal Semantic Representations of Patients Resilient to Temporal Drifts”, which aims to develop new AI tools, capable of assisting healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and prognosis of clinical outcomes as well as the development of models for predicting costs in the treatment of patients based on the resource consumption profile in their care routes (trajectories). As specific objectives, this project aims to answer the research questions: (i) Is it possible to develop new patient representation strategies that integrate multimodal data from various sources for the effective prediction of clinical and economic outcomes?
