Graduate (master, p.h.d ) Medical Sciences Scholarships

TUMS open call Graduate level scholarship Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) would like to announce a tuition-waiver scholarship for Spring Semester 2012. All scholarships are in form of a tuition-waiver, for duration of one year, with a possibility of renewal based on student performance and decision of TUMS Scholarship Committee for International students. 

This scholarship is open to all Graduate level applicants who are interested in applying to TUMS and will cover:

• Tuition fee (0 to 100%) 
• Accommodation (fully furnished housing for the student 
including TV, sofa, microwave oven, Internet, and free first transport from the airport in Tehran to their room) 

All graduate level applicants interested to continue their education in medical Sciences at TUMS should

3. Submit scholarship online application form (http://ic.tums.ac.ir/en/form-6465-32.htm)
4. Submit a letter describing reasons for the candidate should be awarded this scholarship
5. Submit summary research proposal, the Ph.D. should describe the research project they are interested in, related to their field of study (not to exceed 3 pages)

Deadline: August 31, 2012
Start of semester: January 2012

An IELTS of 5.5 is required upon graduation

Spring Semester will start January 2013. All Ph.D. applicants must include summery of their research proposal (at most 3 pages) as an attachment to question 35 in our graduate application form.
