The research group of Laurent Bartholdi invites applications for one to two postdoctoral positions with an expected start date of October 1, 2022.
Priority will be given to researchers with interests in any combination of (geometric) group theory, complex dynamics, symbolic dynamics, complexity and decidability questions, and computer-assisted proofs.
This is a standard "Research Assistant", with 4 hours/week of teaching/tutoring duties. Teaching can be done in English, and knowledge of German is welcome.
Positions are typically offered for 2 years, extendable once. The salary follows the A13/E13 guidelines (about 50k€/yr, depends on many factors such as experience and family).
