Job description:
You will progress towards research independence while working on a PhD project in Geometric Group Theory. Potential topics include cube complexes, group automorphisms, generalisations of Gromov-hyperbolicity and the interplay between these concepts. However, broader interests are appreciated and encouraged. The PhD position is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) through Dr. Elia Fioravanti's Emmy Noether grant "Coarse medians as a hyperbolicity surrogate" (515507199).
