Job description:PhD Student (f/m/d) Experimental Physics (magnetism)

The Institute for Ion Beam Physics and Materials Research is dedicated to the study of materials and their nanostructures that can be considered for future applications in information technology and are based on electrical, magnetic or optical functionalities.
The Department of Magnetism is looking for a PhD Student (f/m/d) Experimental Physics (magnetism).
The weekly working hours in the 1st year are 19.5 hours, an increase to 29.25 hours per week from the 2nd year and to 39 hours per week from the 3rd year is possible.
Your tasks
# Experiments using ferromagnetic resonance
# Sample patterning (electron beam litography, optical litography)
# Thin film fabrication
Your profile
# Completed university studies (Master) in the field of Physics or related field
# Experience with lithography, thin film deposition and/or magnetism
# Good communication and teamwork skills
# Good knowledge of written and spoken English (B1/B2)
