Die Arbeitsgruppe
Geothermie des Lehrstuhls Hydrogeologie forscht in vielen Projekten mit 18
Mitarbeiter*innen in der oberflächennahen und tiefen Geothermie. Die
Tätigkeitschwerpunkte in der Forschung liegen in der Bestimmung der
petrophysikalischen Gesteinsparameter im Labor und aus Bohrlochdaten, in der
Vertiefung des hydraulischen Prozessverständnisses, innovativen
Monitoring-Methoden und der numerischen Reservoirmodellierung. Weitere

Anforderung
Sie haben
· ein abgeschlossenes Studium der Geowissenschaften oder verwandter Disziplinen (z.B. Umweltingenieurwesen/Bauingenieurwesen)
· generell Erfahrungen im Bereich der Geowissenschaften/Geothermie/Hydrogeologie
· und/oder Erfahrung in der numerischen Modellierung hydraulisch-thermischer Prozesse
· und/oder Erfahrungen im Bereich der Durchführung und Auswertung geophysikalischer Loggings und hydraulischer Tests
· Hohes Interesse am wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten, evtl. große Motivation zur Verfassung einer Promotion
· Freude im Team zu arbeiten
Aufgaben
Ihr Aufgabengebiet umfasst eines oder mehrere der folgenden Themengebiete: Erstellen von Konzepten und die Entwicklung von Methoden zur Charakterisierung geothermischer Reservoire sowie deren Beurteilung, die Analyse von geophysikalischen Grundlagendaten, der Aufbau von numerischen Reservoirmodellen - auch zur Simulation des Wärmespeicherverhaltens, die Evaluierung von Konzepten zur Integration der Geothermie in Wärmenetze
dabei übernehmen Sie einer der Aufgaben:
·
die wissenschaftliche Bearbeitung zum Aufbau
eines Beurteilungsmodells der
Tiefengeothermie für den Bayerischen Teil des Molassebeckens
· die Auswertung von geologischen, petrophysikalischen Grundlagendaten
· den Aufbau und die Kalibrierung numerischer Reservoirmodelle und die Simulation komplexer Prozesse
· Analyse von Konzepten zur Integration der Geothermie in Wärmenetze
· beteiligen sich an der Lehre, durch die Betreuung von Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten
· halten wissenschaftliche Vorträge bei nationalen und internationalen Veranstaltungen
· publizieren ihre wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse in internationalen Journals
Wir bieten
eine 75% Promotionsstelle oder 100% Stelle als wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter*in (E13) am Lehrstuhl Hydrogeologie der TUM mit Beginn ab sofort und befristet auf 4 Jahre, Teilzeit ebenfalls möglich

About us
The Geothermal Group of the Department of Hydrogeology with its 18 members is involved in many projects in the field of near-surface and deep geothermal energy. The research focuses on the determination of petrophysical rock parameters in the laboratory and from borehole data, the deepening of the understanding of hydraulic processes, innovative monitoring methods and numerical reservoir modelling. Requirements
You have
·
a completed degree in
geosciences or related disciplines
(e.g. environmental engineering, civil engineering)
· general experience in the field of geoscience/geothermal energy/hydrogeology
· and/or experience in numerical modelling of hydraulic-thermal processes
· and/or experience in carrying out and analyzing geophysical surveys and hydraulic tests
· High level of interest in scientific work, possibly strong motivation to write a doctoral thesis
· Enjoy working in a team
Your tasks
Your duties will cover one or more of the following areas:
The development of concepts and methods for the characterization and evaluation of geothermal reservoirs, the analysis of geophysical data, the development of numerical reservoir models, including the simulation of heat storage behavior, the evaluation of concepts for the integration of geothermal energy into heat networks.
You will be responsible for one of the following tasks
· the scientific work on the development of an evaluation model for deep geothermal
· for the Bavarian part of the Molasse Basin
· the evaluation of geological and petrophysical data
· the development and calibration of numerical reservoir models and the simulation of complex processes
· the analysis of concepts for the integration of geothermal energy into heat networks
· participate in teaching by supervising bachelor's and master's theses
· give scientific lectures at national and international events
· publish their scientific results in international journals.
We offer
· 75% PhD position or 100% position as a researcher (E13) at the Department of Hydrogeology at the TUM, starting immediately and limited to 4 years, part-time possible.
