Applicants should have a strong background in structural bioinformatics, computational chemistry, chemoinformatics, or a related discipline.

The expected skills are a good knowledge in protein structure and molecular recognition, and hands-on experience with visualization of biomolecule, programming/scripting and numerical calculations. During the thesis, the doctoral student will be expected to handle the following concepts and master the techniques for their study or implementation: homology modeling, pharmacophore modeling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulation, virtual screening. Familiarity with Python scientific programming language is considered beneficial.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated young scientist, having good interpersonal skills, strong team spirit, and capable of effective oral and written communication. He/she will show proficiency in English.
