Requirements:
- Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in Analytical Chemistry, Plant Physiology or related field; graduation since March 28, 2008 – now; applicants who graduated Ph.D. in the Faculty of Science of Palacky University in Olomouc are not acceptable;
- Perfect level of English language;
- Ability of individual work and to publish in the field of analytical chemistry (phytochemistry) and/or physiology of plants;
- Evidence of publication activity in the field;
- Strong background in analytical chemistry (of plant hormones) and expertise in plant physiology and/or plant biotechnology (plant tisuue cultures) welcomed;
- Ability of pedagogic work;
- Personal interview.

Description

We are looking for a dynamic postdoctoral researcher to join the Centre of the Region Haná
for Biotechnological and Agricultural Research at the Faculty of Science. Postdoctoral position centers on basic research of the role of new cytokinin derivatives in plant tissue cultures. The project is focused on application of new cytokinin derivatives in tissue cultures of selected plant species as well as isolation, identification and quantification of endogenous cytokinins as well as other (interacting) plant hormones from explants, grown on different exogenous cytokinins. Recent Ph.D. graduates (after March 28, 2008) with strong background in analytical chemistry (of plant hormones) and expertise in plant physiology and/or plant biotechnology (plant tisuue cultures) are encouraged to apply. Evidence of publication activity in analytical chemistry (phytochemistry) and physiology of plants, satisfactory command of English and experience with teaching students are expected.
