We are looking for Human Resources Business Partners to support our Human Resources Branch. The Human Resources Business Partner would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
Working as a partner with your assigned client group, the Human Resources Business Partner will deliver high quality client service. You will work closely with your clients to optimize organizational performance, shape culture and build employee engagement through leading human resources management practices.
The key accountabilities for the Human Resources Business Partner role include:

  • Providing strategic and operational advice and guidance in a range of HR areas, including but not limited: to hiring; workforce planning; equity, diversity and inclusion; official languages; classification, organizational development/effectiveness; performance management; labour relations; disability management; succession planning, onboarding, coaching and supporting new and existing supervisors and managers, learning and career development.
  • Working with clients to support organizational strategies and accelerating business outcomes, aligning talent strategies to business priorities and objectives, implementing and measuring effectiveness.
  • Planning and managing the delivery of operational HR services to support client objectives.
  • Advising on and supporting the implementation of HR programs and corporate initiatives in the client group, adapting and customizing within approved program framework.
  • Researching, analyzing and investigating complex and difficult files and providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Leading, coaching and supervising HR employee(s).
  • Working collaboratively with a team of HR professionals toward shared objectives.

Education

Degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the work to be performed.
An equivalent combination of experience, education, training and/or experience may be accepted.

Experience
  • Recent and significant* experience in the delivery of operational or program services in several Human Resources disciplines such as: hiring; workforce planning; equity, diversity and inclusion; official languages; organizational development/effectiveness; performance management; labour relations; disability management; succession planning, onboarding, learning and career development.
  • Recent and significant* experience in researching and analyzing strategic and operational HR issues for clients and providing advice/guidance, options and recommendations.
  • Experience in supervision or mentoring.

 

*Recent and significant experience is defined on the basis of the scope, recent nature and complexity of the work performed which is normally acquired by a person in a position where the performance of these duties are/were the main function for an approximate period of two years within the last four years.

Compensation

From $96,887 to $107,696 per annum. 

 

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
