Updated: about 2 months ago
Deadline: 2024-03-29T00:00:00Z

The LOCVaS (Leak Tracker via Surface Measurement) project combines the efforts of different areas of expertise to investigate new methodologies and techniques to estimate the location of buried water pipes together with the leak location. This project is conducted at the Digital Water Laboratory (DWLab) in the Faculty of Engineering-UNESP, located in the city of Bauru, Brazil. The aim is to perform ground vibration measurements that can be used to detect the buried water pipe together with the position of any leak in the system. This involves systematic measurements, signal processing, modelling and developing of conceptual prototypes.

The DWLab group invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar. We are looking for outstanding scientifically independent candidates willing to work collaboratively with students and other researchers. Candidates can apply by filling out the online application form: link google forms.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. Furthermore, the final research plan comprises two years, however, there exists a potential for extended funding for an additional year abroad, facilitating collaboration with our international partners.
