TURBULENCE MODELING PROPOSAL FOR 2 YEARS RESEARCHER
NUMECA is a globally operating CFD software company (http://www.numeca.com) developing CFD simulation software widely used by design engineers in a broad range of industries. The company has its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
Within the ANADE Marie-Curie (ITN) project (http://www.anade-itn.eu), NUMECA is seeking a young researcher at post-doctoral level with experience and interest in turbulence modeling. The two-year project would focus on research on various aspects of turbulence when dedicated to the prediction of separated flows.
•Analyze and improve current Turbulence models, in particular in predicting separation and reattachment
•Applications will consider testcases for which good reference data are available, covering internal flows (3D Diffuser e.g.) as well as external flows (SAE body cars e.g.).
