CEST is Austria's Competence Center for Electrochemical Surface Technology and acts as an
innovator and a trendsetter at the interface between science and industry. The company
cooperates with numerous international scientific partners of various universities and research
institutes.
In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for 2 to 4
2 PhD’s for work in the area of battery technology
1 PhD for work on simulation of liquids and reactivity in confinement
1 PhD for work on adhesion on surfaces
All projects are in collaboration with globally active industry partners and will allow to work on a fundamental level PhD project with a direct connection to applications in new and emerging
areas.
Your tasks:
- Research tasks in industry related projects
- Performing electrochemical experiments
- Synthesis and analysis of functional materials
- Participation and presentation at conferences
Your profile:
- Master degree in chemistry
- Good communication skills in English and German
- Knowledge of battery technology, electrochemistry, electrochemical measurement methods (especially impedance spectroscopy) and inorganic chemistry is an advantage.
Annual Gross Income: The actual classification and remuneration will be paid according to
the relevant qualifications and experience, an overpayment is possible. The annual salary is a
minimum of € 28.000,- gross according to research collective agreement for 30 hours per
week.
Place of employment: Wiener Neustadt
duration: 36 months/ 30 hours per week
