- The Western Australian Medical Students' Society has donated a sum of money to establish a fund to provide a travel scholarship to assist students enrolled in the course for the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) at The University of Western Australia to undertake their Level 6 elective placement overseas. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist Level 6 MB BS students undertaking their elective placement overseas by contributing towards the expenses associated with their travel, including airfares, accommodation and ancillary costs.
