Overview
The UTS Dr Con Moshegov Orthoptics Scholarship has been established to support students commencing in the Master of Orthoptics (C04299) program. The scholarship aims to provide financial support to students who can demonstrate a geographical disadvantage and/or are from a refugee background.
Dr Con Moshegov, one of Sydney’s leading ophthalmologists in the treatment of cataract and laser eye surgery, was a strong supporter of the education of orthoptists. Dr Moshegov passed away in January 2022, and these awards are from the Con Moshegov Memorial UTS Orthoptics Fund and were made in accordance with the Moshegov family’s wishes.
