UQDI Honours Scholarship, The University of Queensland.

The Honours scholarship is for new or continuing students intending to enrol in an Honours program at The University of Queensland for the 2013 Academic year (students enrolled mid-year in 2012 will also be considered). The primary objectives for honours scholarships are to: Encourage students of high academic ability to take the first step in their career path as a biomedical translational researcher. To build research capacity in high priority areas related to biomedical translational research.

This scholarship is offered once only to 4 people. Open for applications from August 16, 2012 until February 15, 2013.

The value of this scholarship is AUD3250 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Genetics, Immunology, Other biological sciences or Other medical and health sciences. It is required that your study starts no earlier than March 1, 2013 and no later than October 31, 2013.

This scholarship is for study in Australia. You must have studied at or be currently studying at The University of Queensland.
