Living Allowance $23,728 p.a. paid fortnightly. Thesis allowance $500. For international students relocation allowance $1520 and establishment allowance $500. Free laptop provided to all research higher degree students at the University of Newcastle.

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from January 1, 2012 until June 30, 2012.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD23728 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, LAW, JUSTICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL or STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2012 and no later than August 31, 2012.
