The Storey Scholarship pays AUD $10,000 as a one-off payment.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be a currently enrolled RMIT student
- be applying for the RMIT Exchange Program via the Global Experience Office
- be a first-time participant in the RMIT exchange program
- have not commenced your exchange program
- not be receiving any other RMIT scholarship or financial support apart from an OS-HELP loan
- be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- be involved in community service activities, with weight given to activities that benefit the broader community. Examples of community service could include, but aren’t limited to:
- volunteering with a political party, an aged care facility, foodbank or an environment group
- volunteering with the Global Experience Office during events such as inbound orientation, the Mobility Fair, Global Leadership Programs
- working with religious or youth groups
- volunteering with RMIT's food co-op or MATES program

The scholarships, funded from the John Storey Junior Memorial Scholarship Fund, were donated by Sir John Storey in memory of his son, and RMIT student who passed away aged just 22.
