This scholarship is provided for the duration of your program, at:
- $6,000 per year ($3,000 per semester) if you are full-time enrolled and demonstrate financial disadvantage in your scholarship application; or
- $3,000 per year ($1,500 per semester) if you are part-time enrolled and demonstrate financial disadvantage in your scholarship application; or
- $3,000 per year ($1,500 per semester) if you are full-time enrolled and do not demonstrate financial disadvantage in your scholarship application; or
- $1,500 per year ($750 per semester) if you are part-time enrolled and do not demonstrate financial disadvantage in your scholarship application.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen
- identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- register with RMIT’s Ngarara Willim Centre and provide documentation confirming that you are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander by the scholarship application due date
- be from an interstate or rural/regional area and moving/moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT in semester 1 2024 for the first time
- be able to demonstrate circumstance/s which impact your ability to study such as:
- receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card
- having a long-term medical condition or disability
- experiencing personal/family/social difficulties
- have previously/are currently living in foster/kinship care or are a ward of the state
- be from an under-represented background such as completed secondary school at a School Network Access Program school
- be commencing study in semester 1 2024 in a certificate IV, diploma, degree or postgraduate by coursework program at RMIT
- have not previously commenced or completed a program at the same level of study or higher
In addition to the above:
- to be considered for the full value of the scholarship per annum, you must demonstrate financial disadvantage in your scholarship application such as showing documentation that you receive a government tested low income benefit or have a Centrelink Health Care Card
- you must not be enrolling in an apprenticeship or traineeship program
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- be an Australian citizen
