Position Overview

Southern Cross University (SCU) was recently successful in securing new funding from the Commonwealth Government Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research under the Collaborative Research Networks (CRN) program.

SCU is working in partnership with The University of New South Wales (UNSW), The University of Sydney (UniSyd) and The University of Queensland (UQ) to develop significant research capacity and improve performance outcomes in policy related research concerning a range of social and economic issues in regional areas.

Through the Centre for Tourism, Leisure and Work and in collaboration with The University of Queensland, a two year Postdoctoral Fellowship is being offered to a PhD qualified researcher to undertake research, as part of the Policy and Planning Research for Sustainable Regions program, into policy and planning for sustainable regions.<
