PhD in Biological Anthropology
Biological Anthropology is the branch of Anthropology that focuses on the evolutionary and biological aspects of human populations. Humans are varied and dynamically changing sets of biological individuals - adaptable, but also vulnerable, to ever-changing circumstances.
Topics for graduate student research cover a wide range, with the main supervision strengths lying in primatology, human evolution, animal domestication, bioarchaeology and palaeopathology, and indigenous health and demography.

A range of scholarships are available for PhD students. Applications for scholarships for international students close on 31 August each year, and applications for scholarships for domestic students are open until 31 October each year.
