P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship (IPS) for study in USA & Canada

*Next round TBA* P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship (IPS) Fund was established in 1949 to provide scholarships for international women students to pursue graduate study in the United States and Canada.In order to qualify for her first scholarship, an applicant must have a full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled on campus for the entire school year.

This scholarship is offered annually to 2 people. Open for applications until February 15, 2012.

The value of this scholarship is USD10000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for accommodation, living expenses, fees and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid as a one off for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: AGRICULTURAL, VETERINARY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, ARCHITECTURE, URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND BUILDING, BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, EARTH SCIENCES, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES, JOURNALISM, LIBRARIANSHIP AND CURATORIAL STUDIES, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, LAW, JUSTICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION, PHYSICAL SCIENCES, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, SCIENCE - GENERAL, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL, STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY or THE ARTS.

This scholarship is for study in Canada or United States. You must be female to apply for this scholarship. Only citizens of countries except U.S.A and Canada may apply.
