Scholarship Description
A 3 year PhD Scholarship, funded by an ARC Linkage Project Grant and collaborating industry partners (the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the New South Wales Health Professionals Council Authority (HPCA)) is available to a student as part of a large study undertaking a comparative analysis of complaints procedures against five health practitioner groups: medicine, nursing and midwifery, dentistry, psychology and pharmacy in NSW and the national scheme. The scholarship recipient will be based in the Sydney Law School under the primary supervision of Professor Belinda Bennett. This student will be required to hold a law degree. This study is designed to provide insight into the decision making processes and complexity of working in a protective jurisdiction. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD27222 (minimum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
