MQ Children & Families Research Centre - Salvation Army Scholarships
Salvation Army (TSA) PhD scholarships are offered as individual or top-up awards through the Inst Early Childhood to support research on social justice, welfare and community services in Australia. Projects will be developed by scholarship recipients and supervisors in consultation with the Salvation Army in areas of: ■ Financial hardships. ■ Homelessness. ■ Community based and/or parenting programs for disadvantaged families. ■ Income management. ■ Social exclusions. ■ Mental health interventions. ■ Other research area that would benefit disadvantaged communities. The value of this scholarship is AUD10000 (total amount). This award is to be used for research and living expenses. This scholarship is paid as a one off.
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES, Cultural studies, Education studies, Human geography, Other education, Other studies in human society, Psychology, Social work or Sociology.
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved confirmed PhD candidature.
