The Australian Government encourages Australian students to immerse themselves into social and academic cultures of other countries and provides opportunities for international students to study in and experience Australia. The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP), provides funding to eligible Australian higher education providers to support the participation of both outgoing Australian undergraduate exchange students and incoming undergraduate international exchange students.

Eligible destinations include countries and regions within Europe, Oceania, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. For a full list of eligible countries please refer to the Program Guidelines.
Value and duration
These scholarships provide funding of up to $5,000 to subsidise the cost of student exchange.
Who is eligible?
Outgoing student subsidies
Students who are Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents are eligible to receive outgoing student subsidies.
Incoming student subsidies
Students studying at the Australian institution under student exchange arrangements, and who are not Australian citizens or permanent residents are eligible to receive incoming student subsidies.

Applicants will be assessed by UTS International, and allocation of the scholarship will be based on academic merit and their personal statement.
