IGNITED (Initiative for a Girls Network in Information Technology and Engineering @ Deakin) Scholarships
These scholarships are awarded to the top female students entering an undergraduate course within the School of Engineering or School of Information Technology within the Faculty of Science and Technology.
Value
Cash payment or student contributions up to $5000 per year plus academic mentor support.

Normal duration of the course.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be:
- female
- an Australian citizen or holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- a commencing student (current Year 12 in 2012 in Australia) enrolling full time in one of the Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Engineering degrees or relevant combined degrees in a Commonwealth supported place.
Selection criteria
Achieve a minimum ATAR of at least 80
