Gowrie Scholarship Trust Fund Scholarship
Description: The fund has been established to assist lineal descendants of those members of the Australian Armed Services who served in a theatre of war during the 1939 - 1945 conflict.
Eligibility: Applicants must: have applied for or be enrolled full-time in a Higher Degree by Research at an Australian university; be direct lineal descendants of a member of the Australian Armed Forces who saw active service in World War II; and demonstrate outstanding research potential.
Annual Amount: 4000
Amount Comment: The scholarship is valued at $4,000 per year for up to 2 years.
Application closing date: End October
Other Details: A scholarship application must be sent to both the university of study and the Gowrie Scholarship Trust Fund.
