DEECD Special Education Scholarship - Hearing Impairment
*closed for 2012* The Special Education Scholarship, as one of the National Partnership Improving Teacher Quality Initiatives, contributes to an inclusive education experience for all students by increasing the supply of qualified special education teachers. Applications are invited from qualified teachers who are not currently employed in the profession in a Victorian government school and who have a significant interest in becoming a special education teacher. Approved special education courses for scholarship consideration are: 960LH Master of Education (Language Intervention & Hearing Impairment) offered by The University of Melbourne, 10936H Master of Special Education (with specialisation in Hearing Impairment) offered by the University of Newcastle Renwick Centre. You must separately apply for course entry and meet university selection requirement and timelines.

This scholarship is offered annually to 20 people. Open for applications until January 23, 2012.
