CAAR is looking for projects that enhance Australia's economic, cultural and social relations with the Arab region (comprising the 22 countries and territories of the Arab League). CAAR supports innovative projects that have clear outcomes and seeks to ensure the benefits of such activities are spread as widely as possible. The Council has a special focus on assisting the initiation of activities that are likely to prove self-sustaining.
