APPEA The Tony Noon Memorial Fund
*closed for 2012* The Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association (APPEA) invites applications from honours, Masters or PhD students from an Australian university for the award of a one-off grant to a maximum value of $3000. Applicants must be attending the university in the year of application and be an Australian resident or citizen. The purpose of the fund is to help students aspiring to, or considering, a career in the Australian petroleum exploration and production industry in any discipline directly related to the industry. This could include, but is not restricted to, exploration, safety, engineering, environment, and economic or legal areas. Please refer to website for application details.

This scholarship is offered annually to one person. Open for applications until June 30, 2012.
The value of this scholarship is AUD3000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for research and travel. This scholarship is paid as a one off.
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: ECONOMICS, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Environmental sciences or Law.
This scholarship is for study in any country or Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 (Semester 1), or Masters or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or AUS permanent resident can apply.
