Annual - Indigenous Cadetship Opportunities in Catholic Education 2012
The Catholic Education Office (CEO) of Western Australia is offering cadetship opportunities for individuals who will be studying full-time during 2012.
The Cadetships, supported by the Indigenous Cadetship Support (ICS), offer a range of interesting career opportunities in the education sector. Our aim is to enrich the Catholic education system by inviting Indigenous people to become employees of the CEO whilst studying for their degrees. In addition to the Cadetship Program, cadets may be offered employment in the Catholic education system following the successful completion of their studies.
What is the ICS?
The ICS is an Australian Government funded programme administered by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). The ICS aims to improve the professional employment prospects of Indigenous Australians by linking Indigenous students with employers in a cadetship arrangement involving full time study and work placements.
Full information on the ICS is available at:
If you are intending to apply, you should read all the information for students on this site to familiarise yourself with the program.
