The Diabetes Research Foundation of WA (DRFWA) has made available a sum of money from the Alex Cohen Diabetes Scholarship Fund for the purpose of providing top-up scholarships to students in receipt of an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) conducting research based around clinical, cause, complications or psychological aspects of any form of diabetes at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Collaborative research is encouraged.

The top-up scholarship is open to applicants who are in receipt of an Australian Postgraduate Award and who are enrolled at the University of Western Australia.
