|Working Title||Office of Testing Services - Work Study Student Assistant (Fall 2017)|
Works closely with the Coordinator of Testing Services. Makes copies, develops flyers for programs, marketing materials and press releases for the office, and assists with administering exams as delegated. Assists with the high volume of telephone calls and e-mails routed through the office and completing projects for the Academic Success Center. Learns the policies for over 11 exams administered by the office and work with 4,000 testers each year.
Shift Specifics: 8 – 10 hours per week.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

|Knowledge, Skills & Abilities||
Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; successful completion of the background investigation process.
Previous customer service experience in an academic setting and/or with the general public.
