Position Summary:
A Window Washer primarily handles daily window washing and cleaning routines of private and public areas such as office windows, all building entrances, door frames, door saddles, door push bars, door handles and door plates.
Position Responsibilities:

• Clean all building entrances (glass doors) on a daily basis;
• Washes interior and exterior windows of all buildings at all locations on rotating basis or as needed;
• Performs special cleanings as required for special functions;
• Covers housekeeping FTE's assignments on sick or vacation as needed;
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience & Educational Background:

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience working with window belts on tall ladders and scaffolding is required.
• Valid state issued driver's license preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Must be able to work the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing, and kneeling while working;
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs;
• Knowledge of various cleaning methods, materials, chemicals, and window-washing equipment;
• Respirator Fit Testing may be required.

Salary Range:

• Salary Range : Grade 7 1199 New Hire rate: $26.77 and 1199 One Year of Service rate $27.32
