  • Team Brainstorming: Attend team meetings to learn about project planning and requirements gathering, implementation strategies, design decisions, development, etc.
  • UX/UI Design: Create or test designs and components in Figma (depending on interest and skill level). Provide feedback on group design work.

Skills you bring to the table:

  • Detail oriented
  • Creative thinker
  • Strong writer and communicator

  • Familiar with design software (Figma specifically is a plus)
  • Excitement about great digital experiences and interfaces
  • Interest in brand development
  • Interest in visual or UX design
  • Experience in writing and editing
  • Knowledge of site building content management systems (SquareSpace, Wix, WordPress, or Drupal)

Skills you will gain:

  • Listen, incorporate, and manage diverse requests
  • Introduction to Digital Accessibility: Understand what it means to make digital platforms and communications available to all users
  • Full Project Lifecycle from within an “agency”: See how websites are built from initial brainstorming and client meetings to final production and launch
  • User Perspective: Discover the challenges of balancing business goals with user goals when launching a new product
