The University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs’ Center for Governance and Markets (CGM), under their Afghanistan Project, serves as a global hub for Afghan scholars and policy practitioners. CGM is seeking a Visiting Senior Research Scholar to contribute to research, mentorship, and support programming for the Afghanistan Project. Working under the directorship of Dr. Jennifer Murtazashvili, the scholar will have the opportunity to further their own research and scholarship. They will be asked to attend and participate in research seminars at CGM, and to contribute to the design and crafting of research seminars and public lectures.

Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in international affairs or relations, or public policy. political science, history, economics, or a similar field with at least 7 years of relevant research, policy, or teaching experience.
