Responsibilities:

The Department of Economics in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University seeks to fill a Visiting Lecturer position.

Candidates should have demonstrated commitment to fostering diverse and inclusive environments as well as to promoting experiential learning, which are central to a Northeastern University education.

This is a one academic-year appointment that is benefits-eligible. The appointment will be on Northeastern’s Boston campus to begin in fall 2024. The teaching load is six courses for the academic year (three courses in fall 2024 and three courses in spring 2025). All courses will be taught on-site.


Qualifications:

  • A PhD in Economics or its equivalent in a related discipline is required by the start date.
  • Applicants qualified to teach economics courses in any field are encouraged to apply; however, preference will be given to candidates willing to teach microeconomics at the undergraduate and master’s level.
