Position Summary
The Department of Biology at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a 1.5-year, non-tenure eligible specified-term visiting instructional position that will begin January 10, 2024 (Spring semester 2024 through AY 2024-2025). We seek an individual with expertise in organismal biology, ecology, and biostatistics who can teach an upper-level conservation biology course and a biostatistics course. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a [3-3] teaching load.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in organismal biology/conservation biology or a closely related field is required at the time appointment begins (January 10, 2024).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teaching undergraduate courses, postdoctoral research experience, and the ability to offer special topics courses in the areas of conservation biology/ecology will be viewed favorably.
