– Enhance the research experience of our B.S. and M.S. students through both faculty and peer mentorship

Position Summary
The Department of Chemistry at William & Mary , a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a 2 year, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry instructional position that will begin August 10, 2024.
We seek an individual with an expertise in Chemistry with a strong preference for Biochemistry and a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses including lectures and labs in general chemistry, organic chemistry I and/or biochemistry. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a [3-3] teaching load.
Required Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2024).
Preferred Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field at the time appointment begins (August 10, 2024),
and previous experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students are preferred.
