The Department of Political Science at the University of Houston invites applications for a non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year Fall 2024-Spring 2025. We seek applicants who have research and teaching interests in American politics. Special consideration will be given to those whose research agendas will add to the department’s existing strengths in this subfield and have potential for collaboration with a variety of current faculty. Successful candidates should have extensive methodological training, demonstrated excellence in scholarly research and publication, and a clear commitment to undergraduate teaching. Review of applications will begin April 8 and continue until the position is filled.
