      Position Description:

      Edits and provides scout tape to coaching staff; breaks down the video with game cutups, offense/defense scouting, and scouting reports; produces high quality, creative videos for recruiting and year-end highlight videos, including conceptualization, shooting, editing, finishing and delivery; coordinates content creation for social media; and trains student assistant/managers on use of athletics related production equipment processes.


      In addition to duties above, this position may be designated as one of the permissible on-campus coaching positions and participate in on-court instruction and practice activities with student-athletes.

      Education Requirements:

      Bachelor's degree required.

      Required Qualifications:

      Experience with video production; and an understanding of the sport of men's basketball in order to video tape correct scouting information, formations, and game situations required. Frequent travel and evening and weekend work will be necessary. Student experience will be considered. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa.

      Desirable Qualifications:

      Division I or II playing experience preferred.
