Posting Summary | Primary duties include serving as a perinatal quality nurse point-person for the VCHIP/VDH PQC-VT project. Duties will include working closely with the PQC-VT team, including VCHIP faculty leads, VCHIP staff, and the Vermont Department of Health Family and Child Health Division team in supporting the implementation of multiple statewide perinatal quality improvement (QI) projects with clinical partners and community partners who work with pregnant and postpartum people. The perinatal quality nurse will provide the PQC-VT team with clinical nursing expertise, develop, coordinate, and implement educational opportunities related to pregnancy and postpartum priority topics, and support the development of a Community of Learning (COL) to incorporate learning into relevant clinical/community settings. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minimum of five years of related experience are required. Specialized Vermont Board of Medical Practice approved certification and/or licensure required. |
Desirable Qualifications | Experience working with healthcare professionals and community leaders in statewide QI project design, implementation and roll-out. Experience developing a Community of Learning (COL) with clinical and community partners. Experience developing health-related trainings for health care professionals in clinical and community settings. Experience working with data collection tools such as REDCap and using data surveillance tools to monitor progress on activities. Knowledge about perinatal substance use preferred. |
Anticipated Pay Range | $55,000 - $65,000 |
