Job Summary
This position contributes to the Starbucks and Campus Store success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks and the Campus Store guiding principles.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
  • Display a customer first attitude.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary.
  • Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
  • Follow Starbucks and Campus Store operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
  • Provides quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current University of Utah student.
Current Food Handler’s Permit within one month of employment; must be able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English; and a commitment to providing excellence in service required.
Preferences
Six months food handlers’ experience is preferred.
