Role of the Position

The Gynecologic Surgery & Obstetrics (GSO) department is searching for a board-eligible or board-certified, fellowship trained Urogynecologist specialist to join our expanding practice located in Las Vegas. Roles of the position include the establishment of a clinical practice related to all aspects of pelvic floor disorders, education of residents, fellows and medical students and the ability to carry out independent research. 

Position highlights:

  • medical student, resident, and fellow education and training is a must

  • involvement in clinical research is desirable and needed for rank promotion

  • non-tenure track

  • work with Division Director to expand urogynecologist division and services

  • collaborate with minimally invasive gynecology surgery (MIGS) division to provide education and training to MIGS fellows

Minimum Qualifications

The successful candidates are expected to have graduated from an accredited medical school with completion of an ACGME accredited residency program and completion of a urogynecologist fellowship training program. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in their main specialty field, prior to employment commencing. If board eligible, certification must be completed within the first two years of employment. Candidates must be eligible for a Nevada medical license, malpractice coverage and meet credentialing requirements and must be able to obtain admitting privileges at applicable hospitals and/or clinics. Finalists must possess and maintain a State Board of Pharmacy license and DEA license and may be subject to a background check. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and rank. Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
