Job Summary:

Join our team to tutor and guide students in a variety of subjects, including mathematics, science, reading, writing, and history, at elementary, middle, and high school levels in the Mission District of San Francisco.

Full Job Description:

Responsibilities as Tutor:
• Tutor and mentor youth in subjects including but not limited to math, reading, writing, science, and history.
• Tutors are responsible for communicating with the tutor coordinators and lead tutors when they have concerns or absences.
• Tutors are also responsible for attending mandatory monthly tutor trainings to enhance their skill set.
• Tutors are responsible for tracking students’ progress on a weekly basis.
• Tutors will be assigned to other UM program opportunities as requested (Social Justice, Immersions, Retreats, etc.)
 

Responsibilities as Tutor + Driver:
• Drive tutors to the sites and from the sites back to USF.
• All the other aforementioned tutor responsibilities.
Tutoring Schedule for Spring 2024:
Mondays: 2:30-4:30pm & 2:30-5:30pm
Tuesdays: 1:30-4:30pm
Wednesdays: 1:30-4:30pm & 2:30-5pm
Thursdays: 1:30-4:30pm & 2:30-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $18.07/hour
