University High School is a service unit of the College of Education of Illinois State University. It offers a comprehensive program of instruction for over 600 students in grades 9-12. This unique school acts as a laboratory for 21st century educational innovation and research. The mission of the school is to provide a site in which excellence in education theory may be connected to practice. Extracurricular duties may be assigned.

Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience, combined with an excellent benefits package

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement to teach Social Studies

1. Master's degree
2. Three years of teaching experience
3. Experience working with pre-service teachers

Generally Monday - Friday, school hours with occasional weekend and evening hours as business needs dictate

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Remain at a workstation for extended periods
2. Distinguish colors on a monitor
3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis
