Job Summary
An Undergraduate Teaching Assistant assists the instructor to whom he/she is assigned with a variety of tasks ranging from office hours and proctoring exams to grading homework assignments and doing basic library research. UTAs are expected to provide weekly tutoring services to 100-level Economics courses including ECO101, 102, 103 and 138. The UTA’s specific duties are determined on a case-by-case basis.

$14.00/hour
Required Qualifications
- Economics major required.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Must be a degree seeking undergraduate student at Illinois State University.
- Highest consideration given to those applicants with at least a Junior standing and a strong academic record in a range of economics courses.

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
