Position Summary:

The University of Dayton seeks a Transfer Credit Coordinator to deliver a high standard of excellence in student and customer service to support our mission. The Transfer Credit TCO Coordinator works closely with colleagues within Enrollment Management and within the academic units to maintain and continuously improve processes and services related to credit evaluation and the posting of college credits. The Transfer Credit Coordinator is responsible for functions related to transfer students and all students with transfer credit (e.g., posting of transfer credit in a timely manner, including study abroad and military credit.) The Transfer Credit Coordinator will supervise student-workers in the transfer credit office and manage their workloads – especially important in peak volume times. The Transfer Credit Coordinator will liaise with Enrollment Services and Flyer Student Services to ascertain transcript and Credit by Exam score receipt.

Minimum Qualifications:

● Associate’s degree in technical or liberal studies discipline
● Proficiency in MS Office and other related technologies (Microsoft Excel preferred)
● Effective oral and written communication skills
● Effective interpersonal skills
● Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
● Ability to process high volumes of data
● Detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

● Bachelor’s degree in technical or liberal studies discipline
● Collegiate registration, records or maintenance experience (preferably with Banner/Ellucian systems)
● TES basic certification (Administrator certification preferred)
● Experience using Degree Works, Salesforce, Zoom
● Familiarity with University of Dayton curricula, Common Academic Program
● FERPA familiarity
