Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University’s Business Services is seeking a Traffic and Parking Representative. This position reports to the Associate Director of Parking and Transportation and will be responsible for safe transport of students, staff, and faculty via 15 passenger shuttle/van and issuing citations using mobile LPR to vehicles parked in violation of FAU parking rules and regulations and performing daily checks of parking facilities.

  • Essential: Responsible for safe transport of students, staff, and faculty via 15 passenger shuttle or van from the Boca Raton campus to Jupiter campus and around the Boca campus.

  • Essential: Coordinate and schedule, regular maintenance, and repair of any vehicle’s mechanical and safety operating systems.

  • Essential:  Properly document vehicle inspections and complete required paperwork.

  • Essential: Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and to maintain a clean interior and exterior as required.

  • Essential: Assist Parking Enforcement Specialists with enforcement by issuance of parking citations to drivers of illegally parked vehicles.

  • Essential: Patrol parking lots and parking structures (garages and elevators) and report the existence of any hazardous conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Valid Driver's License.
Able to lift at least 40 LBS
