Description: PRINCETON UNIVERSITY, Princeton, NJ. The Department of Philosophy invites applications for the Louis Skolnick Postdoctoral Research Associate. Successful candidates will pursue research and may teach up to two courses per year, subject to sufficient enrollments and with the approval by the Dean of the Faculty. The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year pending satisfactory performance. Appointments will be made to the rank of Postdoctoral Research Associate; when teaching, the candidate will hold the secondary rank of Lecturer. Qualifications: Successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Philosophy or related field should have less than three years of post-Ph.D. research experience prior to September 1, 2024 . The department welcomes applications from scholars specializing in any area of philosophy. This position is subject to the university background check policy.
